If you're looking for a quality contractor this is the place to use. We hired them to replace our roof. They were in constant communication with us letting us know what was going on. Not only did they do a fantastic job but they did it on a Saturday. What other company are you going to find that works on weekends and being over 90 degrees outside. The men that worked on our roof were courteous and clean. They were really careful when it came to our plants and property. When they left you would never know they were here other than our new roof. Their cleanup was amazing. They are definitely a five star company!!!

We came across the Schaffer name when we were looking for a roofing company that was able to handle a particularly difficult roofing pitch. After spending months entertaining quotes from proposed professionals, Mr. Schaffer answered our request for a quote and actually showed up at the agreed upon time. After 5 previous attempts to find a contractor he was the first and only that actually walked the workspace and took true measurements of what it would take to complete the job correctly. I knew right then, that this was a person that took pride in the task at hand and would be awarded the roofing bid.
After being extremely pleased with the results of our roofing experience we decided it was time to further invest in our property with a complete exterior update. I own a very old wooden 2 car, 2 story garage/barn. I hired Timothy Schaffer Roofing and Siding in Dec. 2014 to replace a section of the roof, to add downspouts and gutters to the entire roof, and to wrap the whole structure in vinyl siding and aluminum. They did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price! It took the crew about a week - they worked hard every day in very cold winter weather. The results were beyond my expectations - from the outside, the entire building looks like it was recently built! The workmanship is excellent, the angle cuts and bends look crisp and straight, the crew cleaned up after themselves, and it looks so good the neighbors have been giving me compliments. In need of a contractor after a house fire, and having seen Timothy Schaffer Roofing & Siding signs everywhere, I contacted and hired Tim. Tim and his crew were professional in every aspect of the word as they repaired/replaced fire damages on the inside and outside of my home. They are a group of hard workers who I never heard use profanity, nor did any of them remove any attire, even on the hottest of days (in August). I find it extremely hard to believe the negative reviews posted previously. Having worked with multiple contractors on various projects in the past, Tim Schaffer is the only contractor I have hired for additional work. He ensures quality, asks appropriate questions to ensure satisfaction, and my favorite part...one of the job's cost came in under what he quoted me, and none were higher! My house is a work in progress and I will be hiring Tim and his crew again, as well as highly recommending him to anyone looking for a reputable contractor.

We had storm damage from Sandy. I asked our neighbor who he would suggest to fix or replace our roof. He said Tim Schaffer. It was December until I finally had a chance to call him. Tim promptly came out gave an estimate and told us to call our insurance company. Thankfully we were fully covered. Our roof damage was not severe so we were in no hurry, Tim said it would be early April to do the job. He called the second week of April and his crew completed the roof in 2 days.
Fortunately the work was done when I was home, so I had a chance to watch them. They took great care to cover the yard and shrubs with tarps. As I watched them replace the roof I know my roof was put on by professionals. I was impressed with the quality work they did. Tims crew did an outstanding job. Crew Forman Luis was polite and courteous Matt, Dave, William all worked very hard. They cleaned up everything as if it was their own property! Tim has built an outstanding business, his signs are everywhere, and I know why! We Thank You Tim.

My home never looked so beautiful.... – I'm so thankful for that day my daughter suggested we call Timothy Schaffer Roofing & Siding for an estimate! We had no idea who he was but thought why not check things out. Our home needed to be resided, new gutters, etc.....the whole deal. He was the ONLY contractor who responded in a timely fashion to call back. And we left messages with 3 others who never called!

You cant' find a better contractor... – I hired Timothy Schaffer Roofing and Siding almost 20 years ago to put a new roof on my house. I was very pleased with his workmanship as well as his prices and was 100% satisfied with the entire job from beginning to end. He kept me updated on his progress and always asked both my wife and I if we were satisfied with how the job was going. He and his team cleaned up after the job so well my wife wanted to hire his team to clean the inside of the house as well…lol. Best contractor in Souderton/Hatfield area – We've lived in Hatfield for 34 years, and have used many local contractors and suppliers, and Tim Schaffer Roofing is The best contractor we have found. Best. Price and quality, you will not find better. Our next door neighbor first hired Schaffer to reroof their house, and we were so impressed with the work crew, the work, and the price, that we had them roof our house next. Their bid was way under what our normal contractor charged, and we really liked our former roofing contractor who did slate repairs on our home each year. Then five years later, when we needed aluminum siding for our trim, we had Schaffer come back and bid on the job, and again, he bid significantly under the other company who quoted on the job. We were just as pleased with the siding job, as the roofing job, and we enjoyed getting to know the workers. Since we first had our roof done, maybe ten years ago, we've notice his signs all over the place. Ask around, and you'll find that this is a reputable contractor with excellent prices.

Great experience for the installation of new shutters.Tim was timely from estimate to completion. The crew was personable, professional and very attentive with the post-effort cleanup. The new shutters look great and have made a dramatic improvement to the exterior appearance. When it's time for a new roof or windows, I know who to call!
